A508 needs a cyclepath

A508 is dangerous and intimidating for cyclists. Need cyclepath to keep those in villages connected to nearby towns.

Pavement is too narrow for cycling on the path and the road is too narrow for cars and cyclists. The road needs to be widened and a Cycleway added.

A cycleway along Crick Road by Houlton abruptly stops as it becomes Northamptonshire. Considering the level of HGV traffic and the amount of warehouse worker commuting, a continuous cycle path to Crick/DIRFT would be an excellent alternativ ... [more]

Restricted access and narrow lanes across bridge make this a potential hazard for cyclists. A dedicated bike lane or bridge is required.

A toucan crossing or equivalent provision is needed on caswell Road at the bottom of Houghton hill. It is currently difficult to cross here, on what is a major cycle access point to the industrial estate.

Resurfacing and drainage improvements are needed on the Houghton Hill cycle path. A small stream flows down this route in all but the driest times.

There is no connecting footpath/cycle path to cogenhoe which would then give villagers from brafield. Denton and yardley access for the eastern cycle routes of Northampton which are accessible from billing aquadrome

This is normally a fast flowing road; there is a rarely used footpath along next to the road; if this path was re-surfaced & made multinuse (cyclists & pedestrians) it could become a cycling highway, making this road safe to use for cyclist ... [more]

Blind junction where route 50 dog-legs across the A5 on a shared use path to Kilsby Road. Unlike the universally-ignored cyclists dismount on the other side of the road, at this point cyclist really do need to take care.
