31159Photo #31159Unhelpful signage for NCN50 in centre of Crick village.
The route dog-legs across Main Road but is only signed at one of the junctions . Anyone following this will soon find themselves on the A428 to West Haddon, rather than the correct route south.

The poles have with small metal loops presumably for locking to but none of these users had used them.

29023Photo #29023Blind junction where route 50 dog-legs across the A5 on a shared use path to Kilsby Road.
Unlike the universally-ignored cyclists dismount on the other side of the road, at this point cyclist really do need to take care.

29022Photo #29022Chicanes and a dismount sign for the shared use path on the bridge over the M45.
This very short section of shared use path alongside the A5 provides a useful dog-leg link between two quiet lanes on route 50.
As evidenced by the tyre tracks on the right, the effect seems to be encourage cyclists to squeeze between the chicane fence and the trunk road rather than dismount and walk along what is otherwise a generously wide path between the trunk road and the bridge parapet.
